:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from C. L. Piper -- Find your NEW purpose with funny, heartfelt, motivating stories seniors will relate to : These are cute stories that are about the author’s life as a senior. If you are retired, you will be able to relate. Especially if you have lost your why, and need to figure out how to restructure your life and have purpose. She even includes questions to ask yourself to help you find your new purpose in life. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2021 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Bill Miller -- Hilariously funny! : As a senior who is reinventing myself, I was laughing all the way through Julie Sursok’s new book! From her bathroom stories to beach experiences it was easy to visualize everything she shares. My favorite of all her stories was about passwords. I remember when I was younger and my father was trying to learn how to ( Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2021 )
- 4.0 out of 5 stars from Jayne -- You Will Relate : This book is a quirky collection of the author's musings on the joys and surprises of being a senior. I loved her tips for staying young at heart and healthy: Collect memories, not stuff, Live in the moment, Do something nice for someone else, Eat healthy (but not all the time), and Love your grandchildren even from far away. As a woman of a certain age myself, I can relate to the shock of finding my body betraying me on the outside while I'm still the same hip chick of my youth inside. My mother once told me, "Inside you're always 18." This book proves it. The senior years will happen to us all, so we may as well laugh at ourselves and enjoy the moment. A fun read full of wisdom and humor. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021 )

- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kim A. -- Lots to think about : I love the way reading the essays in this book feels a lot like having a chat or text with a friend. They also make nice, short chapters which is one of my favorite things ever. But this book does more. There is a related quote and a piece of advice offered at the end of each chapter to connect that story you just read to a bigger lesson. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2021 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from CHRISTINE LEVY -- Great sequel to her first book!! : I really enjoyed all the stories and especially loved the “Just a Thought” and “Sage Advice” at the end of each chapter. My absolute favorite section was the end though because it truly spoke to where I am at now….trying to create and accept and enjoy my “authentic” retirement/life!! I’m lucky to have an amazing life and co-senior on the journey with me and that should be my first thought every day! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2021 )
- 4.0 out of 5 stars from James -- Insightful, amusing and interesting. : Whilst due to my age I may not been the exact target demographic for this book (due to my age). I still really enjoyed it and recommend it. Reading this book I found myself reflecting upon the impact life and retirement will have had on family and friends I know I also found it beneficial in looking at my own purpose and path in life. It also the first book I have ever downloaded to read and this format took nothing away from the enjoyment! Go ahead and get a copy! ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 10, 2021 )

- 5.0 out of 5 stars from MS -- Hit This One Out Of The Ball Park! : I thoroughly enjoyed Julie Sursok's first book and "I'm now Called a Senior Stories from the Heart" did not disappoint. For me, Julie's second book is next level. She truly has hit this one out of the ball park! As a senior myself, I appreciate Julie's ability to take every day simple "senior" situations and write about them with honesty, joy, appreciation, practicality and grit. Senior Sage at the end of each chapter gives extra food for thought. This is an inspiring and heartfelt read not just for seniors but all adults who enjoy stories about real life and the things that truly matter - family, focus, connection with others, purpose, peace and faith. A stellar read! ( Reviewed in Australia on October 12, 2021 )
