Easy Engaging Empowering Read : I devoured this book in one full morning. It was a fluid and easy read that starts at the beginning of the authors journey in life to the present day. It was empowering to read through all the author overcame (which was truly 'so' much). As women we can face so many obstacles, opinions, and judgements in this life...its inspiring to read how another woman shattered the limits of what sterotyping and societal expectations place on us. The down to earth nature the book is written in makes you feel like you too can not only preserver through whatever you are going through but conquer it.

Inspiring Read : This book is inspiring and a must read for everyone - for single moms to give them hope and everyone else to realize how you can do anything you put your mind to. Dr. Candace Burney is truly one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure to know and I am so thankful she shared her story.

Author holds nothing back : Straight from the heart, a story that holds nothing back. I felt as though I was there in the moments as I turned pages to reveal pieces of my own past. I am encouraged for all that pick up this great read.

Empowering : As a single mom sometimes it can feel like you are all alone even when surrounded by people who say they support you. To have to go through life evens alone can be hard especially when kids are involved. #momdad is the perfect embowering book to remind us that we can make it through those hard times. That we can still have our own dreams and make them happen not only for ourselves but for our children.
